For auld lang syne: for the old, good times (values of friendship and kindness)

 

This is a Scottish song . It´s commonly used in special events such as when a person says "goodbye" or starts a long journey in time . They also sing it on "New Year´s Eve" and hand in hand, they shout "goodbye" to the year that ends.
